On November 29, 2024, the Chinese Embassy in Germany held the 2024 All-German Chinese Students' Association Congress. 82 student union representatives from all over Germany attended the meeting. Ambassador Deng Hongbo attended and delivered a speech, and Huang Wei, Minister Counselor of the Education Department of the Embassy, ​​presided over the meeting.

In his speech, Ambassador Deng introduced China's latest achievements in further comprehensively deepening reform and promoting high-quality development, as well as the recent developments in China-Germany relations. He fully affirmed the contributions made by the All-China Students' Association in Germany in serving Chinese students in Germany, building bridges of communication, and promoting exchanges between China and Germany. He spoke highly of the enterprising and vigorous image and spirit of Chinese students in Germany, and encouraged the majority of Chinese students in Germany to inherit and carry forward the glorious tradition, consciously integrate their personal ideals and pursuits into the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation, sharpen their ambition to serve the country, give full play to their knowledge, serve as good private ambassadors, and continue to write a brilliant chapter in their lives in the new journey of promoting Chinese-style modernization.

The representatives of the Student Union shared their work experience in the past year in the construction of the Student Union, services for international students, and enhancing Sino-German exchanges. Experts gave lectures on legal knowledge and answered questions on the spot. The students expressed their strong desire to forge ahead with the times and develop with the motherland. They said they would cherish the learning opportunities,· improve their own abilities, find the fit between their majors and national development, and contribute their youthful strength to the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation.
