At least 992 euros per month is required during your stay in Germany. When submitting the application, you must provide proof of funds for at least one year, i.e. a total of at least 11,904 euros (in the form of a scholarship, a restricted withdrawal account Sperrkonto or an official economic guarantee letter). If the stay is shorter than one year, the total amount will be reduced accordingly. Applicants entering Germany as students need to provide proof of funds of at least 1027 euros per month (12,324 euros per year).
