"General Domestic Applicant Procedure" applicants who meet the following two requirements can register for the TestAS (TestAS 054) on October 19, 2024, in place of the face-to-face review:

(a) Undergraduate students at Chinese universities (including students in their 8th semester of a four-year program and students in their 10th semester of a five-year program) And

(b) Have not participated in the TestAS or the interview review under the "General Domestic Applicant Procedure" so far.

Application Process:

Applicants planning to take the TestAS (054) examination are required to submit complete and complete application materials according to the requirements of the "General Notice for Chinese Domestic Applicants" and mail them to the Beijing Review Office by August 9, 2024 (the date of signature and receipt by the Review Office shall be taken as the deadline).

Chinese undergraduate students who have completed 6 semesters (four-year undergraduate program) or 8 semesters (five-year undergraduate program) are also required to submit the application form for the TestAS (054) examination.

The review results will be determined based on the combined comparison of the TestAS examination scores and the applicant's submitted grades. This review standard applies to all applicants for this TestAS examination, regardless of the number of completed semesters.

Applicants who successfully pass the review will receive a qualification certificate, which is valid for life and applicable to applying to all German universities.

Applicants who fail to pass the review will be automatically transferred to the interview review.

Applicants who have already sent their application materials before the deadline and meet the conditions (a) and (b) can also submit the application form for the TestAS (054) examination for supplementary application and apply for the TestAS examination (the deadline for supplementary application is August 9, 2024).

The review fee is RMB 2,500. The fee includes the application fee for the TestAS (054) and the interview review fee (if the applicant fails the TestAS, they can participate in one interview without incurring additional fees). If the applicant fails the interview, they have only one opportunity to apply for a re-interview (at a cost of RMB 2,500).

Successful TestAS (054) applicants will be able to have their diplomas and degrees re-evaluated by the review department after graduation. The re-evaluation does not require another interview.

The following applicants will continue to participate in the interview review:

Applicants who have already graduated from a bachelor's program

Applicants who have already participated in an interview review but did not pass

Graduates of three-year college programs in China

Undergraduates at non-211 universities who have not completed three semesters of study

Applicants studying in Austria, Belgium, and the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland)
