In order to further promote exchanges between China and other countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa-free countries and trial a visa-free policy for holders of ordinary passports of New Zealand, Australia, and Poland. During the period from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, holders of ordinary passports of the above countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, or transit will be allowed to enter China visa-free for stays of no more than 15 days. Holders of ordinary passports of the above countries who do not meet the visa-free conditions will still need to obtain a visa before entering China.
